August 17, 2008 - Commuters passing through the intersection of Old Greenwood Road and Phoenix Avenue likely have seen the latest innovation in outdoor advertisement to hit western Arkansas.
An LED digital billboard owned and operated by Phoenix-based Clear Channel Outdoor has replaced a “vintage” static billboard at the 4700 block of Old Greenwood Road. The $90,000 billboard, according to building permit records, is slightly smaller than the maximum 300-square-foot regulation — and yes, it’s legal.
